Rope Cutter!
On steep cliffs, groups of mountain climbers often attach themselves together with a rope, so if one person loses their grip, the others prevent them from falling. But if several people lose their grip at once, you’d better hope the last few people hanging on can support everyone’s weight! Otherwise, the might selfishly cut the rope and sacrifice their fellow climbers’ lives to save their own.
In this situation, you’re climbing a mountain and only the person at the top of the rope is still hanging on; everyone else is dangling below them. Everyone starts this LIVE challenge with 3 lives.
Each round, you will say “I climb the mountain” with exact spelling and capitalization as fast as you can in the tribe chat. The first person to do this will be at the top of the rope for that round, the second person to do this will be second highest on the rope, and so on down to the last and lowest person.
The person at the top will then choose to either cut off everyone below them, or pass the knife down to the second highest person. If the second highest person receives the knife, they’ll choose to either cut off everyone below them or pass the knife down to the third highest person, and so on. If you decide to cut, you cannot cut off only some of the people below you, or anyone above you. Thus, the higher you are on the rope, the lower your risk of getting cut off.
If the second lowest person passes the knife down to the lowest person, no one will get cut off and someone selected at random will lose a life. If one or more people get cut off, each cut off person will lose a life and no one else will.
But there’s a catch. If a person with 2 remaining lives wins a round by posting “I climb the mountain” first, before they make their cutting or passing decision they will get to choose one person anywhere on the rope to auto-eliminate from the challenge. If a person with 1 remaining lives wins a round, they will get to choose two people to auto-eliminate from the challenge. They cannot choose no one. So be careful who you piss off when you cut!
Last person left standing, or should I say climbing, wins immunity
